starting class
Okay so I am new to this whole idea of blogging but just like in the song "life's a dance you learn as you go", I have decided to take the same route. I am not sure what to really expect from my first blog, really trying to get the feel for this type of journal writing in a public forum. Most of my blogs may come to you at times usually not expected by people in this type of a class because of my work schedule but you will get the new postings as soon as possible. Well, that is about all I've got to say about that. Talk to you all later

"Life is a dance, you learn as you go." I totally agree with you! I truly believe that life is the best teacher. You really learn more through experiences, and definitely through interacting with one another. That's why I find interpersonal communication to be so interesting. I love listening to other peoples' stories because there's always something to learn. Hoping to learn something(s) from YOU! :)
Life's a dance is a good metaphor for this class as well as blogging. Interpersonal communication comes with some instructions, such as norms and scripts, but much is improvisational, which makes it interesting to experience and study.
hi boyd013, well welcome to the class. hello my name is nicola and i tend to very much write about everything going on in my life on my blog. Specifically i am writing everything on the class blog as well because of my schedule. I do have a very personal blog on livejournal but i've stopped using it since summer school has begun.
I really like the idea of blogging with our classmates and I wish all online classes included it!
